Vera van de Seyp was commissioned by Idle Women to design the identity and build the website that would house all that is public-facing of the Physic Garden Network. She was given a relatively website design standard brief, told what the eventual content would be like and who the audience would be. 

What she produced blew us all away. The thoughtfulness with which she approached the brief, the way in which she wove the politics of the project into the fabric of the website, and the details she laboured over that visitors to the site might not even register: all these things transformed this from being a beautiful website design into something much more meaningful.

Her hard work and thoughtfulness recontextualised Vera's work as an artistic response to the network itself. The audio on this page is of a conversation between Vera and the Physic Garden Network digital producer, Charmian Griffin, a transcript of which is available here.
